Growing up in the competitive and stressful Greenwich, CT, I have first-hand understanding that most therapists do not.
I'll help you manage and conquer the stress associated with academics, high-stakes testing, athletics, college admissions, demanding careers, marriage to a spouse with a demanding career, and the intricate social dynamics of this unique environment.
My approach focuses on building mental resilience by developing effective thought patterns and coping strategies.
Together, we will achieve your goals through techniques including but not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, social skills training, and family therapy.
I graduated with my MSW from NYU in 2015. Since then, I have worked in high-acuity settings treating eating and substance use disorders. I have also worked in multiple academic settings, supporting elementary and middle school students. I also have extensive clinical experience treating adolescents.
I have worked closely with families and institutions to advocate for and promote the wellbeing of my clients. My career has demonstrated to me that effective coping strategies prevent maladaptive behaviors from taking root.
Additionally, I have trained and mentored many excellent mental health clinicians.
I stay on top of the latest research. All too often, therapy involves a pseudoscientific approach. The techniques I use are evidence-based and have demonstrated statistically and clinically significant outcomes.
I was born in Manhattan and grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut. I graduated from Greenwich Country Day School in 2006 and then Greenwich High School in 2010. I received my BSW from NYU in 2014 and completed my MSW at NYU in 2015.
After a long day, my favorite ways to decompress are by spending quality time with my fiancé and snuggling with our cat, Coco.
I live for a strong plot and have a deep love of books, TV, movies, podcasts, and really any form of narrative storytelling.
